Meet the Pastors
Pastor Jeffrey Knepper
Pastor Jeff grew up locally in the Mt. Union area. Upon completion of high school Jeff accepted a full baseball scholarship to Gordon College in Georgia, where he was a Criminal Law major. Jeff’s college career was cut short and at the end of his sophomore year he enlisted in the U.S. Army. Following his service in the Army, Jeff returned home and met his future wife Stacey, and they married March 31st, 1990. He began working for the Pa. Dept. of Corrections in March of 1990 and transferred to the Narcotics Unit as a K9 handler in the spring of 1998. Jeff worked there until his calling into ministry in March of 2008 when he became the Assistant Pastor at BBC. During his time as Assistant Pastor Jeff returned to school at Altoona Bible institute and then later Lancaster Bible College. Jeff has been the Senior Pastor at BBC since March of 2014. Jeff and Stacey have been married for 30 years, reside in the Mapleton Depot area and have 2 married daughters as well as 4 grandsons.

Pastor Matthew Winters
Matthew Winters joined the team at Beavertown Bible Church as the Associate/Youth Pastor in July 2017. Matt grew up locally in Roaring Spring, Pa. He attended and graduated from Blair County Christian School in Duncansville Pa. From High School Matt attended and graduated from Appalachian Bible College in Beckley, WV in May of 2017 with a Bachelor's Degree in Theology and a second major in Pastoral Ministry. Matt married his wife Megan in September 2018. Megan currently is a stay-at-home mom to their twins Elyse and Matty. They work together, investing in the lives of the youth of all ages at Beavertown.
