JOY: Jesus, Others, Yourself. JOY Group in a women's group within the church. We get together the second Monday of every month. Joy is an essential spiritual practice growing out of faith, grace, gratitude, hope, and love. It is the pure and simple delight in being alive. Joy is our elated response to feelings of happiness, experiences of pleasure, and awareness of abundance. It is also the deep satisfaction we know when we are able to serve others and be glad for their good fortune. We are a very active group in the church, taking care of things such as planning and decorating for events, decorating for Christmas, organizing funeral meals and meal trains, and visiting groups such as the local Youth Forestry Camp and the Shirley Home.
