Who can become a member?
Anyone who has accepted Jesus Christ as their Personal Savior and Lord and is willing to commit themselves to the ministry carried forth through the Beavertown Bible Church. Becoming a member means more than just having one's name placed on a membership list or book. Commitment is the key. One needs to be wiling to allow God to use them for His Glory and the building up of His Kingdom.
The ministry at Beavertown
The Beavertown Bible Church is a fellowship of Christians who are Evangelical and Fundamental in our Doctrine. We would be considered conservative and family oriented. We believe the Bible to be the divine revelation from God and is our only rule of faith and the practice of our faith.
The Beavertown Bible Church does not belong to any denomination. We are an Independent Bible Church who are dependent upon God & His Word. We believe that God has called us to be salt and light to our community and the world. The primary goals of our fellowship are Evangelism, Discipleship and Excellence. We desire to use every ministry that God has given us to win people to Christ, teach people the Word of God and involve them in ministry.
At Beavertown, we publish a quarterly financial report to the entire congregation specifically stating where the finances are appropriated. All of the finances at Beavertown are received through free will offerings. We do not sell anything to raise money for ministry.
What can you expect as a member at Beavertown?
The opportunity to receive sound Biblical Teaching. We are a Bible Church and all of our teaching and preaching is Bible centered. We believe it is important to minister to the entire family; therefore, all of our ministries are geared to meet the needs of the family. As you get fed from God's Word, you will be given the opportunity to help others grow in their Christian walk.
There will be many opportunities for Christian fellowship for all age groups. If you have children, we have children's and youth groups available. Men are encouraged to become involved in the Men's Group and ladies in the JOY Group. We have a very active Senior Life Group and a Golden Agers group for widows and widowers.
We offer Bible School for the entire family including a Sunday School program and a Wednesday evening bible study.
What is the future of the Beavertown Bible Church?
Our future is as bright at the promises of God's Word. You will find a friendly congregation that is willing to step out on faith and trust God for His direction. As a member you will have a voice in that direction and can help discern God's continuing plans for the Beavertown Bible Church.
